Austin, TX (PRWEB) January 16, 2009 -- Mark Houston Recovery(MHR), the Texas drug and alcohol recovery center responsible for helping hundreds of men reclaim their lives from addiction, is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Scott Kelley to the Business Development team.

Having previously worked in the state of Texas in the area of business development - specifically in the field of chemical dependency, Scott worked for the same treatment center for ten years and has loved living in Texas with his wife and daughter. While working in Texas, Scott received his L.C.D.C. Scott is excited about making the transition from working for a treatment center to working for a recovery center with longer lengths of stay and a focus on recovery and life skills.

The staff at Mark Houston Recovery is extremely excited to welcome Scott as well as the numerous accolades that he brings, which include:

President of Waco TAAP Chapter

Texas Association of Addiction Professionals (TAAP), 2000 to 2008

Member of the National Association of Addiction Professionals (NAADAC), 2000 to 2008

Additionally, Scott is excited about the opportunity to talk to referral sources about Mark Houston Recovery ( http://www.markhoustonrecovery.com) as well as some of the following things that make MHR unique:

beautiful ranch style setting

a curriculum grounded in the 12 steps and spirituality

strong life skills training

a holistic approach to recovery, and

specialization in working with men with relapse history.

When making the decision to move towards a life characterized by permanent recovery and abundance, these (and many more areas) make Mark Houston Recovery both an excellent and exciting choice.
