"Just Pray NO!" logo

"Just Pray NO!" to drugs 17th Annual "Worldwide Weekend of Prayer and Fasting." Make a personal commitment to pray for the addicted. Learn how groups can participate in our annual prayer event. Find help for addiction through prayer and Christian ministries.

Clearwater, FL (PRWEB) January 16, 2007 -- The weekend of April 14th - 15th, 2007 has been designated as the 17th Annual Worldwide Weekend of Prayer and Fasting organized by the "Just Pray NO!" nonprofit corporation. Over the past sixteen years we have had intercessors praying to break bondages and to pull down the strongholds of addiction from every state in the United States and from six continents.

Since April 7th, 1991 "Just Pray NO!" Ltd. has sought to unite Christians from around the world in intercessory prayer on behalf of the addicted and their families. Not only is substance abuse America's number one health problem, the devastation of alcoholism and other drug addiction has impacted families and communities worldwide. Substance abuse has been directly linked to violence and sexual immorality and is a major source of income for organized crime and terrorist activities. The "War on Drugs" directly impacts the "War on Terrorism!"

We are once again thankful for the support and news coverage last April by USA Radio Network and the ministry of United News and Information. The gospel of hope and healing was also broadcasted on K-LOVE Radio Network, a link to our web site was placed on Rick Warren's www.Pastors.com, our message went around the world via the Internet as a breaking news story at www.inJesus.com, and as front page stories on www.Christianpost.com and www.ChristianNewsToday.com. Two news articles were featured on the ASSIST News Service web site: www.assistnews.net. Teen Challenge centers held special prayer events in 60 countries around the globe.

We are again seeking individuals and groups which are willing to commit to pray weekly on behalf of the addicted and their families, and then join with millions of other committed Christians from around the world in prayer and fasting during the weekend of April 14th - 15th, 2007.

If you believe that God is calling you to intercede for the addicted please contact us. To learn how groups can participate in our annual prayer event, or find help for addiction through prayer and Christian ministries log on to our web site: http://justprayno.org/.
