The Breen Consulting Group Announces GSA Contract Award for Martin Innovations
The Breen Consulting Group announced today that its' client, Martin Innovations has been awarded a 5 year Government Contract for Medical Equipment. Washington, DC (PRWEB) January 5, 2009 -- The Breen Consulting Group announced today that its' client, Martin Innovations has been awarded a 5 year Government Contract for Medical Equipment.
Martin Innovations manufactures a patented Zero-Lift® patient transfer and procedure system called the Chair-A-Table®, a medical examination and procedure table that couples seamlessly with a wheelchair. This unique system allows patients weighing up to 1000 lbs or with disabilities to be moved to an examination table without leaving their seat. Lifting patients from wheelchairs to examination tables is a leading cause of injury and missed work for nursing staffs around the world. Worker compensation claims due to lifting patients resulted in over $1 billion in 2005 and contributes significantly to health care costs. The Zero-Lift® transfer system addresses these worker and patient safety issues and is seen as one of the few truly innovative new medical products recently introduced in the market.
Martin Innovations is under contract to supply an indefinite amount of their patient lift systems to the U.S. Government through December 14, 2013 under VA contract V797P-4163B. Complete product specifications as well as informational videos can be viewed at www.martininnovations.com. For inquiries, dealer opportunities, or product application, contact Mr. Brian Trewella, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at (888) 833-5173.
