Lifeclinic Installs Its 4,000th Health Station in a Wal-Mart Pharmacy

Lifeclinic International, Inc., will be celebrating the installation of its 4,000th automated blood pressure monitor in a Wal-Mart pharmacy on September 19, 2007, in Lexington, South Carolina.

Burtonsville, MD (PRWEB) September 17, 2007 -- Lifeclinic International, Inc., will be celebrating the installation of its 4,000th automated blood pressure monitor in a Wal-Mart pharmacy on September 19, 2007, in Lexington, South Carolina.

Lifeclinic will be represented by David Read, Senior Vice President, at the grand opening of Wal-Mart's newest South Carolina store, which will serve the Lexington suburb of the greater Columbia area. According to Mr. Read, "This 4,000th monitor benchmark demonstrates Wal-Mart's continued commitment to creating a healthcare destination for the communities they serve. We're honored to be a part of this Wal-Mart pharmacy's grand opening. We receive calls daily from customers thanking us for providing the blood pressure tests at no charge. Many of the callers had no idea they were hypertensive until they used one of our monitors at their local Wal-Mart pharmacy, while others use the units to monitor their blood pressure between doctor's appointments which are sometimes months apart."

Wal-Mart's Lifeclinic blood pressure monitors are equipped with counters that record the number of times a blood pressure test is administered. Currently, Lifeclinic and Wal-Mart provide over 70 million blood pressure tests annually.
