According to the 60 Minutes report, "the drug maker withheld critical clinical information from the U.S. FDA. According to news accounts, "the drugs maker knew of issues with Trasylol as far back as 2002, yet they continued to allow the drug to be used in heart related surgical heart & hip replacement procedures".
