This type of venture is not new to Acunzo. He is the Founder and former CEO of Stonewater which successfully acquired 22 of the best day spas in the country before it was merged with Premier Salons, now the largest spa company in the US. More recently, Acara MedSpas , a division of Acara Partners, was contracted to take a chain of 37 medical spas out of bankruptcy and stabilize the entity. Acara increased annualized revenues from $0 to approximately $18 million in under 4 months. Acara MedSpas is a management company that offers turnkey solutions for the planning, development and implementation of medical spas and ongoing management services including sales, operations and marketing.
