Whitehead Institute to Offer MyCareTeam™ Diabetes Management Software to Employees & Family Members

Whitehead Institute, in conjunction with MyCareTeam, Inc., has announced that MyCareTeam's popular diabetes management software, MCT-Diabetes, is immediately available to all Whitehead Institute employees and family members through the institute's health and wellness program.

Acton, MA (PRWEB) September 16, 2008 -- Whitehead Institute, in conjunction with MyCareTeam, Inc., has announced that MyCareTeam's popular diabetes management software, MCT-Diabetes, is immediately available to all Whitehead Institute employees and family members through the institute's health and wellness program.

Whitehead employees can now use MCT-Diabetes to securely upload blood glucose (sugar) readings from their glucose meter and communicate electronically with their caregivers. MCT-Diabetes, recently cleared by the FDA, guides people with diabetes to make the required behavioral and medication changes supported by frequent feedback and input from caregivers.
