New Book Offers the Code to Permanent Weight Loss

A new book simplifies weight loss by identifying the exact daily actions resulting in permanent weight loss. Permanently losing weight is based on four factors. These four have been brought together in the form of a diet code. This simple code works for everyone whether losing 30 pounds or 230 pounds.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) June 27, 2007 -- Losing weight can be difficult and frustrating, but it does not have to be, according to Michael Imani, Ph.D who struggled with weight in the past. At present, six in every ten adult Americans is overweight or obese. In the new book, The Diet Code: 4 Steps to Permanent Weight Loss, Dr. Imani outlines each of the specific behavioral factors in permanently losing weight. Based on the direct experience of weight loss superstars losing over 70 pounds and keeping it off for over six years, the program is built upon solid research and the latest clinical experience in the real world.

Overweight and obesity are the second leading cause of preventable death in the U.S. according to the Centers for Disease Control. Commercial diet programs have only a five percent (5%) success rate, in part, because they are only designed to produce temporary results. The Diet Code has produced a 50% success rate with clients, ten times that of virtually all traditional commercial weight loss programs.

One client, an Atlanta-based business executive began the Diet Code program in June of 2006. At that time, he was 354 pounds. He was unable to walk 200 meters without having to stop and rest. Next Wednesday, July 4, 2007, he and Dr. Imani will take part in the world's largest 10K event, the Peachtree Road Race. He has lost 80 pounds on the way to his goal of 190 pounds. As a college athlete, Dr. Imani weighed 176 pounds, today he walks around at 186 pounds, over a quarter century later because of the code.

The program is so simple to use that he is offering to coach 100 television, radio, and print celebrities across the country to illustrate just how easy the code is.
