Allies Voice: A Video-Blog to Make the World Safer for People with Diabetes

The diabetes epidemic is a problem that must be further examined. Diabetes is growing, complications are increasing and costs are rising in spite of new treatments to control blood sugar. What if the answer to controlling diabetes is beyond the focus of blood sugar? The mission of Allies Voice is making the world safer for people with diabetes.

East Setauket, NY (PRWEB) November 15, 2007 -- Allison Love Beatty, former AOL blogger on TheDiabetesBlog.com, announces the launch of Allies Voice at http://www.AlliesVoice.com

The mission of Allies Voice is to help protect people around the world, like her, living with diabetes. Ms. Beatty is announcing the launch of her all new video-blog site the day after the birthday of Dr. Frederick Banting, the discoverer of insulin. World Diabetes Day was celebrated on November 14 at the United Nations in honor of the Nobel Prize winning doctor.

Ms. Beatty reports from the perspective of a person living with Type 1 diabetes for over 22 years. She reports on groundbreaking research, the quest to discover what really causes diabetes (type 1,1a, 1b, 1.5 and 2), as well as addressing the issues pertaining to quality of life and treatment of diabetes.

Allies Voice will blogcast many controversial issues that Ms. Beatty has exposed while blogging for The Diabetes Blog. These provocative issues stem from the profitable business of diabetes. They include C-peptide, genetically modified insulins, choice in insulins and questionable business practices that plague the pharmaceutical industry.

Ms. Beatty urgently seeks allies throughout the world, to help raise awareness about these issues by commenting and sharing their experiences at this all new video-blog website.
