Complete Line of Cincinnati Sub-Zero Temperature Probes Now Available

Cincinnati Sub-Zero introduces its Temperature Probe product line for use in critical- and interventional-care settings; highly reliable, effective probes interface with existing temperature monitors, ensure quality healthcare in circumstances involving anesthesia and therapeutic hypothermia, and originate with a diversity-based supplier.

Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) September 9, 2008 -- Cincinnati Sub-Zero (CSZ) Medical, a division of CSZ Products, Inc. and the leader in the design and development of advanced patient temperature management solutions, today announced the availability of a new Temperature Probe product line.

The innovative set of Temperature Probe products addresses hospital and other medical services provider needs for reliably and effectively managing patient temperature in many rapid-, critical-, and interventional-care circumstances. Proper, controlled temperature monitoring - along with blood pressure and heart rate - is particularly vital for diagnosis, treatment, and oversight in the operating room, emergency room, and intensive care unit.

Supported by 45 years of Patient Temperature Management experience, the new CSZ Temperature Probe product line is a valuable addition to the CSZ comprehensive set of solutions. Accurate to ± .1° C, CSZ Temperature Probes enable highly reliable patient body temperature readings at a variety of anatomical sites. Current configurations include esophageal stethoscope, esophageal/rectal (general purpose) probe, skin probe, tympanic probe, and Foley catheter.

The introduction of a CSZ temperature probe product line compliments the already comprehensive CSZ portfolio of industry-leading, non-invasive, therapeutic hypothermia solutions, including the Kool-Kit™ and Blanketrol® hyper-hypothermia products and localized heat/cold therapy products. The newest offering also is notable as a women-owned business selling temperature probes. Diversity-based supply is a key feature in many cost-effective and qualification-based procurement programs.

In response to the Temperature Probe product line availability, CSZ Vice President and CSZ Medical General Manager Mark Beran said, "CSZ consistently delivers quality products that meet our customers', and their patients', continuous temperature monitoring needs. Physicians and other healthcare providers now have ready access to highly accurate and highly reliable temperature-taking devices from an established and trusted manufacturer in the patient temperature management field."
