Practices automatically upload PQRI quality data to CMS using Cielo Clinic's registry, eliminating the need to use extra billing codes and cumbersome manual reporting.
PQRI establishes a financial incentive for eligible professionals to participate in a voluntary quality reporting program. Eligible healthcare professionals who successfully report PQRI quality measures may earn an incentive of up to 1.5% of total allowed charges for covered Medicare physician fee schedule services.
Unlike other registries qualified for PQRI reporting, Cielo Clinic (http://www.cielomedsolutions.com/products.asp) supports the ambulatory care guidelines of PQRI. Through a rules engine, providers can receive patient-specific prompts and reminders on any measures at the point of care, plus generate call lists and letters to bring in patients due for services based on care guidelines.
