Orthotic accessory invented to help user to continue to work prior to or following foot surgery; would provide peace of mind for foot injury patients and physicians who opt to work; prototype available

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) May 21, 2008 -- InventHelp announces that one of its clients, an inventor from McComb, Ohio, has designed an accessory that could save the user from having to remain out of work for an extended period of time prior to or following an injury or surgery. The inventor has created a prototype.

The C. E. B. PROTECTOR was developed to help the user to continue to work either before, or following foot surgery. The invention would ensure that the injured foot remains comfortable, and it would provide peace of mind for users and physicians on the job. In addition, the accessory would feature a durable construction, and it is producible in a variety of sizes.

The inventor came up with the idea based on his personal experience. "Prior to 2 surgeries on the same foot, I wanted to keep working instead of taking advantage of short-term disability benefits before surgery," he said. "In order to continue to work, I designed this accessory as I was working in a heavy industrial soybean processing plant."

The original design was submitted to the Bingham Farms office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
