As a credentialed valuation expert, Jim holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is an Accredited Senior Appraiser as designated by the American Society of Appraisers. Prior to joining Pinnacle, Jim gained over 20 years experience as a senior finance professional, which included the co-founding of a private finance consulting firm. As former managing director and partner of Quist Valuation, an independent business valuation and securities analysis firm, he honed his skills as an expert in business valuations, where he led numerous valuation projects across a broad range of industries, ranging from small business acquisition projects to multi-million dollar transactions.

Under Jim's leadership, Pinnacle's valuation clients will benefit from his broad valuation expertise and technical capabilities, which are increasingly important in light of physician practice acquisitions and joint venture developments occurring throughout the healthcare industry. In addition to providing business valuation services to health care organizations, Jim will assist Pinnacle in providing litigation and support services to health care attorneys around the country.
