Regenerative Medicine International (RMI) Signs AdiStem Distribution Agreement for Thailand

AdiStem, a leading provider of autologous, adipose-derived adult stem cell products and procedures has appointed Regenerative Medicine International to distribute their suite of stem cell therapies in Thailand.

Thailand (PRWEB) September 6, 2008 -- AdiStem, a leading provider of autologous, adipose-derived adult stem cell products and procedures has appointed Regenerative Medicine International to distribute their suite of stem cell therapies in Thailand.

AdiStem's stem cell therapies are unique in that they draw on the individual's own stem cells - not from a third party as the basis for the therapy. The stem cell therapies address serious medical conditions such as type II diabetes, breast reconstruction for cancer patients as well as cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures.

"We are pleased that Adistem has chosen RMI to distribute their suite of stem cell therapies in Thailand. We believe stem cell therapy represents a paradigm shift in medical technology and we are excited to be at the forefront of this change in South East Asia's medical tourism hub," said CEO Brian Dardzinski.

Thailand would be the third country in Asia to adopt AdiStem's stem cell therapies, behind the Philippines in 2006 and Korea in 2007. The Philippines and Korea have undertaken approximately 200 successful treatments to date.

"RMI's team has developed specialist knowledge in the field of stem cell marketing and distribution over the last few years," said Dr. Bill Paspaliaris, Co-founder and Chief Scientist with AdiStem, "which will allow us to expand our product successfully throughout South East Asia. We are very excited about the potential for the new technology."

Several doctors from Thailand's top clinics and hospitals have already been trained in Korea and RMI expects to license the technology to several hospital and clinics over the next several months.
