Well known Bethesda Dermatology and Cosmetic Practice adds Harvard-trained Doctor
Iris Kedar Rubin, MD, a board-certified Harvard Medical School trained dermatologist with specialized training in laser and cosmetic services recently joined Bethesda's Dermatology and Clinical Skin Care Center, announced Dr. Roberta F. Palestine, Medical Director. Dr. Rubin joins six other specialists at the 26 year-old practice which treats everything from acne to skin cancers as well as leading edge cosmetic procedures. Bethesda, MD (PRWEB) September 18, 2008 -- Iris Kedar Rubin, MD, a board-certified Harvard Medical School trained dermatologist with specialized training in laser and cosmetic services recently joined Bethesda's Dermatology and Clinical Skin Care Center, announced Dr. Roberta F. Palestine, Medical Director. Dr. Rubin joins six other specialists at the 26 year-old practice which treats everything from acne to skin cancers as well as leading edge cosmetic procedures.
She received her undergraduate degree with honors from Stanford University and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She completed her dermatology residency training at Harvard Medical School where she served as Academic Chief Resident. She also completed a fellowship in laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology at Harvard Medical School.
"We're very fortunate to have Dr. Rubin join our practice, and look forward to expanding our laser treatments. She is a national expert in lasers, and brings the latest cutting edge technology to the DC metro area," said Dr. Palestine.
Prior to joining the Dermatology & Clinical Skin Care Center Dr. Rubin was on staff at Massachusetts General Hospital and a faculty member at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Rubin has won numerous awards including the prestigious American Medical Association Foundation's Leadership Award. She has authored multiple scientific publications and presented at national scientific meetings. Dr. Rubin specializes in the treatment of port-wine stains and is actively engaged in research to improve treatment outcomes.
Dr. Rubin grew up in Maryland, and is excited to be back and practicing in her home town. She resides in Bethesda with her husband and toddler son.
Roberta F. Palestine, M.D. is the founder and medical director of the Dermatology & Clinical Skin Care Center and has been in practice since 1982.
