Gerbig Engineering Introduces 7 ½" Deep Extrusions for Cleanroom Construction

Gerbig Engineering, a cleanroom manufacturer, introduces new product that allows more efficient use of larger cleanrooms.

Burnsville, Minn. (PRWEB) October 22, 2008 -- Gerbig Engineering, a designer, fabricator and installer of cleanrooms (http://www.gerbig.com) and cleanroom equipment announces the availability of a new structural aluminum extrusion that integrates into the AireCell line of extrusions. The new extrusion allows greater spans for the softwall or hard wall cleanrooms without center supports.

"This product allows greater flexibility for the utilization of cleanrooms", said Fred Gerbig, President of Gerbig Engineering. "By eliminating a center support, a manufacturer can more efficiently use valuable cleanroom space without having to work around an obstruction."

The new extrusion is 7 ½" by 1 9/16" with flutes for attaching other extrusions or softwall curtains. The new die extends the line of structural extrusions that currently includes 4" and 6" beam. AireCell is a specialized line of aluminum and PVC extrusions and assemblies specifically design for cleanroom construction.

Gerbig Engineering is a privately owned company located in Burnsville, MN. The company specializes in designing, fabricating and installing cleanrooms and cleanroom systems, including medical cleanrooms (http://www.gerbig.com/medical-cleanroom.html) and cleanrooms for the pharmaceutical industries. Products include hard wall and softwall cleanrooms, modular cleanrooms and cleanroom workstations.
