Bangkok Hospital Cuts Cost of Tummy Tucks by up to 50% over US, Australian Prices

Bangkok Hospital has announced a cut-price abdominoplasty package, making the most popular cosmetic surgery available for as little as 50% of the cost in Australia or the US.

Bangkok, Thailand (PRWEB) November 22, 2008 - Bangkok Hospital is now offering a cut-price abdominoplasty package, reducing the price of the procedure from AU$12,000 to around AU$6,300, and from US$10,000 to US$4,300.

The package cost is 150,000TB - at current exchange rates this is around half the cost of the same procedure in the US or Australia. This price is available from now until the 31st December, 2008.

The package includes:

•    One night surgical floor accommodation

•    Operating room charges

•    Necessary medical equipment and supplies

•    Routine medication

•    Anesthesia, and the cost of the anesthesiologist

•    Surgeon's fees

Bangkok Hospital uses the latest techniques and equipment for their cosmetic surgeries, including dissolving sutures to minimize the appearance of scars afterwards.

Dr. Jaturong Ninnagara is one of Bangkok Hospital's most experienced plastic surgeons, being trained in both Australia and Thailand, and with over 30 years medical experience. He says the abdomoinoplasty "has a very high patient satisfaction rate, people are generally very happy with their surgery results. For women whose stomach muscles have been affected by pregnancy, abdominoplasty gives them the opportunity to maintain their new shape with exercises - post-pregnancy tummy muscles can sometimes prevent this".

The American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery recorded over 11.7 million cosmetic procedures in 2007, with recorded surgeries in 1997 only 2 million or so. The Bangkok Hospital package has the potential to make a big financial impact worldwide, not only in the US and Australia.
