JRS Architect, P.C., with offices in Long Island, New York City and Princeton, NJ, has been ranked among the Top 100 Interior Design giants for the third consecutive year. JRS also made the publication's Top 40 list among interior design forms for healthcare for a second year.

Mineola, NY (PRWEB) April 30, 2007 -- JRS Architect, P.C. with offices in Mineola, NY, New York City and Princeton, N.J., has again achieved national recognition, garnering a spot on Interior Design magazine's Top 100 Giants for the third consecutive year. The firm also ranked among the top 40 U.S. interior design firms for health-care, the second time that the firm has accomplished this.

"We are always grateful for the recognition that Interior Design has provided us," said John R. Sorrenti, F.A.I.A., founder and President of JRS. "This year's ranking marks the third consecutive year that we have achieved recognition in the Top 100 and is indicative of the growth that we continue to experience."

Interior Design's annual business survey of Interior Design Giants ranked interior design fees for the 12-month period ending Dec. 31, 2006. The magazine's report can be found online at: http://www.interiordesign.net/id_article/CA6411097/id

The magazine calculated its rankings based on interior design fees, including all types of interiors work, including commercial and residential; all aspects of a firm's interior design practice, from strategic planning and programming to design and project management, and fees paid to a firm for work performed by employees and independent contractors who are "full-time staff equivalent."

JRS' interior design clients include some of the New York area's leading financial institutions, law firms, commercial building owners and healthcare providers. Its interior projects last year included new bank and credit union branches throughout Long Island, New York City and New Jersey for clients such as Chase, North Fork Bank, Bethpage Federal Credit Union, Credit Union of New Jersey, Peapack-Gladstone Bank, Madison Bank and Esquire Bank as well as a wholesale showroom for JLA Home and an interiors project for Marriott Hotels.

JRS again also ranked in the top 40 of all U.S. interior design firms in the magazine's second listing of firms in the health-care interior design. Information on this ranking can be found online at: http://www.interiordesign.net/id_article/CA6394207/id

"Interior Design's 40 Health-Care Giants are experts when it comes to hospitals, outpatient facilities, and medical offices," the publication said The annual business survey of health-care Interior Design Giants ranks the largest firms by health-care design fees for the 12-month period from July 2005 to June 2006.

"JRS has maintained a concentrated focus in this specialized area of architectural expertise for more than 15 years," said Sorrenti. "The firm has developed a team of qualified professionals who are fully knowledgeable about compliance with requirements of the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and who work extensively to formulate and execute effective designs for each specific area of medicine."

Among the firm's medical clients, both past and present, are individual medical practitioners and clinics, pharmaceutical firms, major hospitals and medical centers, including Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, Laboratory Corp. of America, North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, St.Vincent's Hospital, South Nassau Communities Hospital and Stony Brook University Hospital.

JRS Architect, P.C. with offices in Mineola, NY, New York City and Princeton, NJ, has grown from six people since its establishment in 1986 to more than 60 today serving New York City, Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
