America Hears, Manufacturer and Distributor of Digital Hearing Aids, Releases Innovative New Products
Open-Fit and Behind-the-Ear Hearing Aid Both Have Longer Battery Life, More Power to Appeal to Wider Range of Customers Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) November 5, 2007 -- America Hears, the premier manufacturer and distributor of digital hearing aids over the Internet, is proud to introduce the latest additions to its product line -- an open-fit hearing aid and a behind-the-ear hearing aid. These two digital hearing aids, part of the new Liberty series, will launch at the beginning of November 2007 and will be available exclusively at www.americahears.com. The new behind-the-ear hearing aid from America Hears, the Freedom LS, uses ADRO technology to provide superior natural sound to the user. This behind-the-ear hearing aid also uses a #13 battery for extended battery life and features a streamlined, smaller case that makes it less visible when worn than other behind-the-ear models. It comes with a user-adjustable volume control and an adaptive directional microphone. America Hears has also created a new open-fit hearing aid, the Freedom LOF, which utilizes ADRO and offers a greatly extended battery life - three times the life of the company's other open fit and speaker-in-ear devices. This new open-fit product also has a 15 dB greater gain and output level, making it an option for customers who previously may have been told that their hearing loss was too severe for this type of hearing aid. As with other open fit-hearing aids manufactured by America Hears, this product is nearly invisible and extremely lightweight while delivering superior sound quality for the user. "We expanded our line of digital hearing aids in response to the requests we had been receiving from our customers," said Henry Smith, president of America Hears. "Our customers have been telling us that they want hearing aids with extended battery life that can support a wider range of hearing loss, and we were pleased to be able to come up with two solutions - an open-fit hearing aid and a behind-the-ear hearing aid - from which they can choose." Both the new open-fit aid and the new behind-the-ear hearing aid will be offered for the low price of $995, the same price as all other digital hearing aids sold by America Hears. The company recently changed its pricing structure to sell its entire product line at the same price in order to enable customers to choose the best hearing aid based on features and not on budget.
