MDReport.Net Launch Charity Contribution

MDReport.Net announced it will make contribution to a charity based on the patient voting.

(PRWEB) February 26, 2008 -- MDReport.Net, the website that helps patients find the right doctor through real patient experiences, today announced it will make contributions to a charity based on the voting of reviewers.

MDReport.net allows patients to anonymously evaluate their doctor based on the core categories such as approachable, punctuality, and knowledge. It also allows patients to compare doctors by the core categories to determine if your doctor is at the same standard as others or simply check out which doctor is right for you.

"Providing health care information at no cost is the mission of our site which relies on patients to share their medical experiences with others" -- Ken Smith Director of support at MDReport.net

MDReport.net has decided to show what reviewers can help besides sharing their experience to other patients by initiated a charity contribution. It will contribute a set amount to a selected charity at the end of each month. The amount of contribution will be based on number of participants of review. The charity to receive the contribution will be based on reviewers' vote which is part of reviewing.

"Everyday there are people visiting a doctor for the first time and mostly finding the doctor by picking a name from a phone book without any prior information on the doctor's practice. MDReport.net is there to try to fill in the gap to provide information of the doctor, first hand patient experience with the doctor. Finding a right doctor is much like finding the right school for your kid or yourself. But school has past statistical data for you to review and doctors don't. We try to quantify our input from patients into a scale that you can use to compare different doctors between their strength and weakness to find your suitable doctor"

Ken also said MDReport.net will keep adding new features to make health care information more available and easy to access for people.
