SMS-Oncology Joins TrialStat's CROFirst Program
Netherlands-based Contract Research Organization (CRO) deploys ClinicalAnalytics 4.0 for oncology registry study. Ottawa, ON and Amsterdam, N.I. (PRWEB) April 14, 2008 -- TrialStat Corporation, the industry's first clinical data solutions on demand company, today added SMS-oncology, an Amsterdam-based CRO specializing in oncology, to its CROFirst Program. On April 9th, TrialStat enhanced its CRO channel program by offering credit rebates based on activities that encourage joint business development and marketing between TrialStat and its CRO partners that use and sell ClinicalAnalytics 4.0™ (CA 4.0), the company's on demand electronic data capture (EDC) solution. As a member of CROFirst, SMS-oncology can utilize discounted rebates on its CA 4.0 license to grow its bottom line and expand its business in partnership with TrialStat in Europe and North America. Currently, SMS-oncology is deploying CA 4.0 for a 30-site oncology registry study. Using CA 4.0, sites in The Netherlands will enter data through a secure browser interface and compile data for export to SAS for review. SMS-oncology's management team has experience with more than 200 oncology drug development programs. The CRO delivers services that include protocol development, site selection and recruitment, project management, data management, biostatistics and medical writing. "We selected TrialStat's CA 4.0 for its ease of use and flexibility," said Eric van der Putten, Chief Operating Officer, SMS-oncology. "With very little training, our staff was able to use CA 4.0 quickly because it was so configurable and easy to use. Our ability to deploy and use CA 4.0 with this kind of speed demonstrated its value immediately and will in the longer-term be beneficially to our business growth. It is for these reasons we joined TrialStat's CROFirst with a view that it will benefit both organizations." "We are very pleased to have SMS-oncology participate in our CROFirst program," said Jonathan Barker, President and CEO, TrialStat. "Growing our CRO partnerships is an important part of our business strategy. Through joint partnership, TrialStat and SMS-oncology can more effectively collaborate on activities that promote the benefits of CA 4.0 and the unique expertise of our partner in this therapeutic area."
