Kathleen M. Perry RN PhD, Gerontology Nurse Specialist and President of the Illinois Nurses Association endorses the Stronger Seniors Exercise Program

Gerontology Nurse Specialist and President of the Illinois Nurses Association has endorsed the Stronger Seniors Exercise Program. Stronger Seniors is a two video set of chair exercises that are safe, easy to follow, and designed especially for seniors.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) February 24, 2007 -- Gerontology Nurse Specialist and President of the Illinois Nurses Association has endorsed the Stronger Seniors Exercise Program. Stronger Seniors is a two video set of chair exercises that are safe, easy to follow, and designed especially for seniors.

Ms. Perry said about the Stronger Seniors Exercise Program:
"Getting started with an exercise program is the hardest step. Anne Pringle's engaging manner on the Stronger Seniors Workout Programs Draws the exercisers in to the workout experience and encourages them to go slow but keep going. The pace of the program is just the right balance of activity and rest. While the tapes are targeted at a senior audience, they can be used by any age group that is looking to improve their stamina, strength, and balance. In fact, it would be better to start strength training in the middle years to keep the muscles and bones strong and ward off the prospect of serious falls in the senior years."

Anne Pringle Burnell is the founder and creator of the Stronger Seniors Workout Program as seen on Lifetime Television, The History Channel, and CNN. Chosen as the presenting instructor at the American Cancer Society Walk & Roll in Chicago for 2004 & 2005, Anne also developed the Peyow Aqua Pilates program which premiered at the Peninsula Spa.

Ms. Burnell will be a presenter at the National Council on Aging Conference in Chicago on March 8, 2007.

Anne is certified by the Aerobics & Fitness Association of America, and she has been a guest instructor at spas and resorts throughout the US and the Caribbean. Her other certifications include: Stott Pilates, Nia Technique, Kickboxing, Precision Cycling, Aquatics, Seniors, Pre & Postnatal exercise.

Anne teaches at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, University Club,
Center for Older Adults at 4th Presbyterian Church, the Peninsula Spa Chicago, Elements in Motion, and the Stott Pilates Certification Center.
