World War Two Veterans Encouraged To Create Free Online Autobiographies, Families Invited To Help
Veterans encouraged to share their stories and help create a national record of first hand experiences from World War II. Columbus, OH (PRWEB) September 28, 2007 -- The release of Ken Burns The War, a documentary chronicling the events of World War II through the first hand experience of veterans, inspired one of the country's leading legacy consultants to take on her most ambitious project yet. Every veteran who participates can choose to be part of the Veterans History Project collection at the Library of Congress. Audio or video is great, but there is nothing like the printed word for preservation. VeteransLifeBio.com will make it possible for veterans to explain what happened during the war and say what matters most to the people they love." Veterans who visit VeteransLifeBio.com will sign up and then have the opportunity to answer a series of 40 specifically-crafted questions about their lives and the War. When completed, veterans can print their beautifully formatted bios on their own printers or send electronic versions to their loved ones. They can return to their account as often as they wish to add more to the stories. Veterans will also have the option to purchase a hardcover, personalized Legacy Book of their stories and memories.
