Care2Learn, a seven year old online education and training company for healthcare professionals, is offering a free online guide to the PPS changes affecting home health care in 2008.

Bradenton, Florida (PRWEB) December 10, 2007 -- Care2Learn, a seven-year-old online education and training company for healthcare professionals is offering a free online guide to the PPS changes affecting home health care in 2008. The five page synopsis has been prepared by Sharon Molinari, a home health consultant with over 30 years of nursing experience. "The PPS changes will affect clinical and reimbursement areas", says Molinari, "and are vital for home health agencies to understand."

The online resource is being offered free at Care2Learn's corporate solutions website, Care2Learn Solutions, and is the result of current corporate clients' requests. An online course covering PPS and ICD-9 is being prepared for launch in early 2008, but Care2Learn's clients wanted proactive learning. The online PPS guide is therefore being prepared for online in-service presentation so companies can assign and track staff use of this educational resource.

"Home care agencies need this information about PPS changes", says Faith Williams, Director of Healthcare Accounts for Care2Learn. "It has a big impact on operations. Some of our smaller clients don't have the resources to prepare and distribute an in-service on this information. It's up to us to assist them".
