Computers Unlimited and medSage Technologies Work in Partnership to Integrate Orders
Computers Unlimited announces new functionality that integrates medSage Technology's automated ordering system with TIMS software. TIMS software will now be able to automatically download product orders from medSage Technologies' Patient Management System, significantly increasing a business' productivity and cusomter response time, while eliminating input errors without requiring additional staff resources. Billings, MT (PRWEB) October 26, 2008 -- Computers Unlimited (www.cu.net) and medSage Technologies™ (www.medsagetechnologies.com) have partnered to grant TIMS software users the ability to import orders generated by medsSage's Patient Management System.
medSage Technologies' Patient Management System helps HME businesses set up a schedule of combined in-person and automated calls to patients, to monitor therapy compliance, as well as provide assistance with re-ordering health care supplies when necessary. medSage's system is ideal for generating orders, but up until now, the only way to add orders created by medSage's automated calls to TIMS software was by manual entry.
"Computers Unlimited and medSage already have several mutual customers," says Robin Campbell, Senior Systems Consultant for Computers Unlimited. "With an automated integration system, the amount of income that can be generated--eliminating errors in orders, without any additional burden on staff is a huge potential for businesses."
Development staff from both companies worked together to make necessary changes to medSage's Patient Management System and TIMS' data import tool to develop the ability for both programs to communicate with each other. The project took about six months to complete.
Now medSage generates orders that are automatically imported by TIMS, where deliveries are scheduled and payments managed, with seamless efficiency--eliminating errors caused by manual input.
The new medSage Technologies/TIMS integration was unveiled at Computers Unlimited's annual User's Group conference in September 2008. The new tools are currently in testing and are expected to be released to customers before MedTrade 2008.
