Bumrungrad International Provides Medical Service to Everest: the Unlimited Thai Spirit 2007
Bumrungrad International provides medical check-ups and services to the 16 Thai climbers who have attempted to reach the top of Mt. Everest, the world's highest mountain. Bangkok (PRWEB) December 21, 2007 -- Bumrungrad International provides medical check-ups and services to the 16 Thai climbers who have attempted to reach the top of Mt. Everest, the world's highest mountain. This project was organized by TiTV and the Department of Public Relations in conjunction with the Royal Thai Armed Forces and Wat Thai Lumpiniwan in Nepal. Bumrungrad was supporting the project by sending a team of seven medical specialists and emergency equipment to the Everest base camp. Stationed at the Mt. Everest base camp, the four Bumrungrad doctors offered medical and emergency care for the climbing team along with the Thai journalists who reported on the historic expedition. The Bumrungrad medical team included Dr. Yee Yitathasiri and Dr. Piyoros Sapphaso, aviation medicine specialists with extensive experience in treating medical conditions related to high altitude and harsh environments, along with Dr. Chankanok Kuagoolwongse and Dr. Bundit Ninpaitoon.
