Warm Springs Specialty Hospital of Victoria Announces Construction of Freestanding Rehabilitation Hospital in Victoria, Texas

A trusted hospital provider in Texas for over 65 years to offer Rehabilitation and LTACH care on same campus as a new physician syndication.

Camp Hill, PA (PRWEB) April 24, 2008 -- Warm Springs parent company Post Acute Medical, LLC, (the 'Company') today announced expansion plans to build a 20-bed freestanding Rehabilitation Hospital. Plans have been underway for the past year to build on currently owned land adjacent to the current Specialty Hospital.

Significant due diligence has taken place to determine how many rehabilitation beds the Victoria market can successfully operate, and we are confident that 20-bed facility is adequate. Site plans are in final stages to ensure optimal space design to best accommodate both the patients we serve and the physicians who will utilize the hospital.

An investment opportunity will soon be presented to physicians related to the project. We believe this is an excellent growth opportunity for Victoria, an outstanding medical choice for patients, and an opportunity for physicians to participate in the growth of Warm Springs Specialty Hospital.

The investment meeting and related details will be coordinated by Vibra Healthcare and BA Holdings with the local contact being Anne Leon, CEO of the Warm Springs Specialty Hospital.

The new Rehabilitation Hospital will further expand the delivery of care to patients requiring more therapy in a hospital setting to ensure maximum function and rehabilitation. With the expansion scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2009, patients will benefit from multiple care levels on one campus; Long Term Acute Care (LTACH) with Dialysis, Wound Care and High Observation, and Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation.

"We are pleased with our continued development efforts, including the expansion into REHAB services in Victoria. The Rehabilitation Hospital of Victoria will be the second rehab hospital operated by Post Acute Medical with the first in San Antonio. Post Acute Medical operates LTACHs in Luling, Texas and Victoria, Texas with development underway in San Antonio," according to Anthony Misitano and Brad Hollinger, principles and co-managing directors of Post Acute Medical, LLC. "Texas patients and families have trusted their post-acute healthcare to Warm Springs for over 65 years and we look forward to continuing the tradition to better meet the high acuity post-acute needs of Victoria and all the markets we serve."
