Health experts at the CDC estimate there are "more cases of genital warts HPV than any other STI" infection in the United States. In the past year more than 543,000 new cases have been reported bringing the number to just under 21,000,000 cases. Many of these are asking their doctors about a natural treatment called DermaTend. Genital warts are very contagious. A person can get them during oral, vaginal or anal sex with an infected partner. It is also possible to get warts by skin-to-skin contact during vaginal, anal or (rarely) oral sex with someone who is infected. Even without symptoms, it is possible to spread genital warts to a partner. A doctor can usually tell if a patient has genital warts with a quick examination.Women with genital warts should be examined for possible HPV infection of the cervix.
