The United Nations Foundation, The Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), the Washington Mystics, and the people of The United Methodist Church will co-host several events including a Capitol Hill reception with Congressman Donald M. Payne (D-NJ) and an in-arena promotion during the Washington Mystics game, which kicks-off the WNBA's partnership with Nothing But Nets.

Faith leaders from the DC area will come together to pray for children and families who suffer from malaria and discuss the current issues and threats posed by this disease. The discussion will also focus on opportunities for United Methodists and other faith groups to get involved in Nothing But Nets.
