DRE Helps Surgery Centers in New York Obtain Accreditation

Louisville, KY (PRWEB) March 17, 2008 -- On January 14, 2008, a New York State law went into effect that will require office-based surgery (OBS) centers to be fully accredited by a nationally recognized agency determined by the New York State Commissioner of Health. OBS centers to which the law is applicable must be accredited by an agency approved by the Commissioner of Health by July 14, 2009. OBS centers that may need to become accredited include oral/maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery, urological surgery, ambulatory surgery, and cosmetic surgery centers.
