CINN's Dr. Demetrius Lopes is one of the first in the country to use a new noninvasive technique to treat brain aneurysms. The technique involves a new liquid polymer material, Onyx, which is injected through a catheter to the affected blood vessel. The solidified material prevents future blood flow into the weakened area of the vessel.
