CampusRN Announces a Nationwide Nursing Students Scholarship Program
CampusRN will award $50,000 in scholarships to nursing students. Cambridge, MA (PRWEB) April 15, 2008 -- CampusRN is launching a new scholarship program in conjunction with the creation of the CampusRN state edition network. This nationwide nursing scholarships initiative is the most comprehensive of its kind for nursing programs and nursing students because it features scholarship winners from all 50 states. CampusRN will award a $1000 scholarship to a deserving nursing student in each state on the anniversary of the launch of that state’s customized site. It was important to us to be able to help a nursing student in each state because there are qualified and needy nursing students nationwide and all too often scholarship opportunities tend to only target candidates in and around large metropolitan areas.” It is extremely easy for a student to apply for the nursing scholarship. First, the student’s school must be registered in the scholarship program. This is accomplished simply by placing two links on the school’s website (one linking to the scholarship area and one to CampusRN’s jobs/externships area). CampusRN has supplied linking instructions (by state) to make this process easy for schools. Once the school has registered, any faculty member can simply send an email to scholarships @ campusrn.com with the subject Scholarship Registration. In the body of the email, the faculty should include the web page(s) where the links have been placed and CampusRN will quickly confirm that the school has been registered. To apply, students from that school simply need to join CampusRN if not already a member and download the scholarship application. To help faculty spread the word, CampusRN is happy to provide the appropriate communication to notify students about the scholarship opportunity. In addition to the CampusRN scholarship, the website provides students with access to a vast database of other scholarships and grants. The CampusRN network also includes local employment resources on each state site and opportunities nationwide on the main site.
