New Year Heralds Holistic Training Rush

The convergence of growing interest in complementary therapies, healthy living and perhaps the excesses of Christmas, are creating a holistic health training rush. Kevala, the Devon-based holistic therapy training school, is set to break annual records as enrollments have gone through the roof in the first week of January.

Torquay, Devon, UK (PRWEB) January 10, 2007 -- The convergence of growing interest in complementary therapies, healthy living and perhaps the excesses of Christmas, are creating a holistic health training rush. Kevala, the Devon-based holistic therapy training school, is set to break annual records as enrollments have gone through the roof in the first week of January.

"We're delighted with the overwhelming interest in our courses," says Kevala's Principal Peter White. "Clearly people are looking for more satisfying work in the world of complementary therapies as well as a greater understanding of holistic health for themselves and their families."

One Kevala graduate Samantha Flower, a former manager in the world of publishing, now a nutritional therapist, is firmly established on the other side of the job satisfaction gap. She says there's no looking back.

"Looking for a way to formalise my knowledge, I looked for a suitable course and found Kevala whose flexible learning approach allowed me to study whilst working full time. To anyone thinking of taking the leap, I'd say: Go for it! If you have a genuine passion and your intentions are good, you can't go wrong."

As well as diplomas for those wanting to practice professionally, Kevala also offer a range of short courses, ideal for kicking off a new start to 2007, such as Qigong for health, Yoga for children, herbal and naturopathy programmes as well as an A-Z of Nutrition and a guides to essential oils, counseling skills, Bach Flower remedies and massage.

"We're delighted Samantha found our approach so supportive and life-changing," adds Peter White, "helping people from all over the world and in all walks of life to connect with their dream career in holistic therapies without too much stress is a very satisfying aspect of our work."
