Hallelujah Acres Founder Featured in Upcoming ABC Nightline Report

Controversial Christian Pastor Advocates Raw Food Diet.

Shelby, North Carolina (PRWEB) August 18, 2007 -- Christian health ministry Hallelujah Acres founder Rev. George Malkmus will be included in an upcoming ABC Nightline report on the growing movement of people taking control of their health by changing nutritional habits and lifestyles. Representatives of the network were on hand August 4 and filmed Rev. Malkmus recently as he presented his monthly seminar "God's Way to Ultimate Health" and described his own journey to health after fighting colon cancer.

Malkmus sought out an alternative to the usual regimen of surgery, radiation treatments and chemotherapy after his diagnosis, and he changed his diet to raw fruits and vegetables, including drinking lots of fresh carrot juice. When his tumor disappeared after a year of living his new lifestyle, Malkmus decided to tell the world about the dramatic change. He founded Hallelujah Acres in 1992 as a faith-based ministry that teaches the principles of healthy eating and wholesome lifestyle from a biblical perspective as described in Genesis 1:29. In addition to books, nutritional supplements, food preparation equipment, and raw food prep classes, Hallelujah Acres has grown to include a health food store, café, Hallelujah Acres Lifestyle Centers and Get Healthy!Resource Centers that teach the basics of The Hallelujah Diet and Lifestyle in a nine-session course.

ABC's Nightline film crews at the recent seminar also interviewed audience members who had powerful testimonies of health improvement. Today, there are hundreds and thousands of people enjoying health and vitality from making a diet and lifestyle change while the demand for nutritional training and education grows. Hallelujah Acres President, Paul Malkmus, agrees, "Many people want to live a healthier lifestyle, but they don't know where to start or they lack the support necessary to continue once started. Hallelujah Acres has developed educational and support programs to assist people as they make the transition to a healthier more vibrant life. This is an exceptional opportunity for the nation to see how important the message of health and wellness is to this country."
