Mongolian orphans live in difficult conditions and in many cases, do not have adequate food, warmth, clothing or medical supplies. "Every child deserves to live a healthy and active life. The company has partnered with the Network of Non Government Organizations of Mongolia to use the cash donation where the needs are greatest. UNICEF's 2007 Situation Analysis of Children and Women in Mongolia reported that the number of orphaned children has increased by 30% since 2001, partly due to economic hardship. Some 45.4 % of infants aged 0-1 year old, suffer from respiratory diseases and lack medical care often resulting in death. Today, some 20 orphanages stand in Ulaanbaatar, the capital region of Mongolia and most of them are in tented districts with limited access to basic food and medical supplies. This contribution will help some orphanages repair their facilities and purchase much needed furniture, medicine and medical equipment.
