2601 Military Trail - Shoppes of Cresthaven - (Military Trail & Cresthaven Blvd) West Palm Beach West Palm Beach, FL (PRWEB) August 1, 2008 -- On Sunday, August 3, 2008, The Palm Beach County Florida KidCare Coalition is bringing together community leaders in the the Palm Beach County area. Join the following confirmed speakers: Senator Dave Aronberg, West Palm Beach City Commissioner Jerry Muoio, Tana Ebbole, CEO, Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County, and Judith Klinek, Assistant Superintendent of Palm Beach County School District at a News Conference and Florida KidCare Enrollment Back-to-School Fair. They will have Florida KidCare parent, Marlene Rivera, speaking about how Florida KidCare has made an impact in her life as a fulltime working mother of four school age children.
Palm Beach County Florida KidCare Coalition Members, Kid Finders Network, Florida Covering Kids and Families and LaBovick & LaBovick, PA are proud sponsors of this event. Sherri Milstead, Executive Director for Kid Finders Network will have her team on hand doing digital fingerprinting for Kids and speaking on the importance of Safety and Children during the News Conference.
"The purpose of this Palm Beach County Florida KidCare Enrollment Fair is to bring awareness of the healthcare coverage and to enroll children without health insurance in the program," stated, Attorney Esther Uria LaBovick, Partner, LaBovick & LaBovick, PA. Over 700,000 Florida children are eligible to receive low-cost or free health care coverage through Florida KidCare, but are not enrolled.
During and after the News Conference, an Enrollment Fair will take place with staff on hand to assist families in applying for Florida KidCare. There will be online enrollment available at the Enrollment Fair in addition to onsite staff members answering questions on Florida KidCare.
