Children's Cancer Research Fund Launches CompleteTheCure.com

In conjunction with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, CompleteTheCure.come provides ways to help end childhood cancer and shares the stories of children with cancer. Visitors can watch 6 short videos and for doing so, a corporate sponsor will make a donation to cancer research for each video viewed.

Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) September 4, 2008 -- Children's Cancer Research FundŽ and partners Ronald McDonald Charities Upper Midwest, HopeKids Twin Cities and Gilda's Club announce the launch of CompleteTheCure.com, an interactive website designed to educate the public on the childhood cancer experience, introduce doctors who are make progress in the treatment and cure of childhood cancer as well as share the inspirational stories of children with cancer.

Visitors to CompleteTheCure.com can view six short video clips about childhood cancer. For each video clip viewed, corporate sponsors General Mills, Comcast, The Container Store or RecipeTips.com will make a donation to Children's Cancer Research Fund. The more times the videos are viewed, the more funds that will be raised to help advance promising childhood cancer research.

September has been designated as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and CompleteTheCure.com is just one way Children's Cancer Research Fund is taking a leadership role in building this movement. Children's Cancer Research Fund is also participating in Stand Up To Cancer, a campaign to raise fund and awareness for cancer that will feature an unprecedented broadcast simultaneously aired on all three major networks at 7PM CST on September 5, 2008. Children's Cancer Research Fund will have representatives at the broadcast including its CEO and twelve-year-old cancer survivor, Mariah Berner of Duluth.
