Bibadee.com Launches Premier Site for Connecting Children with Their Friends

Bibadee.com Hopes to Make a Difference in the Lives of Parents and Children

Los Angeles (PRWEB) April 15, 2008 -- Bibadee.com (www.bibadee.com), a new online service for parents seeking to bring order to the sometimes chaotic schedules of their children, is now live and available for a free trial after several months of private beta testing. Bibadee hopes to make a difference in the lives of busy parents and children in several ways. Specifically, Bibadee saves time for parents and provides peace of mind by making communication easy and private for scheduling playdates, study groups, and birthday parties. It also stores emergency information, important reminders and on-the-fly notes that parents make on a daily basis. It is the first online system that makes such communication private and secure and is based on sophisticated patent-pending technology. The site was developed over three years with input from parents, educational leaders and Wharton School faculty. Although the site has a professional and extensive help menu, it is very easy to use and largely self-explanatory.

The Bibadee concept is based on the observation that playdates are really crucial to a child’s social growth and development, and the rather sad fact that up to 15 percent of all children report having no real friends. Bibadee not only encourages and facilitates playdates, but also removes a major barrier — scheduling, organizing and keeping track of playdates, activities and friends.

“As the parent of three active children I saw a huge need for an efficient and convenient way to create order in my kids’ busy lives,” says Sushil Madhogarhia, founder of Bibadee.com.

Bibadee allows for RSVPs, text messaging, telephone directories and documenting notes that can be shared privately with one’s spouse, caregivers or grandparents. There is a Social Meter on the secure site that allows parents to find out how well their child is doing socially and allows them to monitor the progress. Bibadee plans to expand with more features based on ongoing feedback from parents, teachers and children.

Bibadee.com also has a one-of-a-kind referral system that ensures quality referrals and rewards people for each of their referrals. Sushil adds, “Businesses often spend a great deal of money on advertising. We believe that satisfied moms and dads are the best advertisers. We want to reward them for their referrals.”

Bibadee plans to donate a significant amount of proceeds to each school that subscribes to Bibadee. Bibadee boasts of a novel online fundraising system where PTA’s and other non-profit organizations can sign up in a few minutes, distribute flyers and/or send an email requesting parents to sign up and track their fundraising effort online. Mick Horwitz, co-founder of Sierra Canyon School, says, “This system offers a fundraising product, makes life easier for parents and helps build stronger bonds between children by encouraging playdates and study buddies.”

Bibadee (www.bibadee.com) recently exhibited at the NAESP’s 87th Annual Convention in Nashville, TN and received a strong response from elementary school principals regarding their product and the potential impact it may have on children, parents, communication, and fundraising efforts.
