NanoAndMore USA is Named Master Distributor by Lyncée tec

NanoAndMore USA, a distributor of nanotechnology products, today announced that it has been named as the exclusive Master Distributor for the US by Lyncée tec, the Swiss manufacturer of Digital Holographic Microscopes.

Lady's Island, South Carolina (PRWEB) January 14, 2007 -- NanoAndMore USA, a distributor of nanotechnology products including atomic force microscope (AFM) probes, today announced that it has been named as the exclusive Master Distributor for the US by Lyncée tec, the Swiss manufacturer of Digital Holographic Microscopes.

The Digital Holographic Microscopes do everything interferometric measuring instruments do, but it is done faster and better - in real time at up to 50,000 frames per second. "Eventually, this technology should replace interferometric methods since it images 3-D in real time, at better resolution, and needs no mechanical or acoustic isolation" says George McMurtry, president and founder of NanoAndMore. "This allows the user to capture MEMS movements in slow motion or watch a cell react to an antigen or protein - just two of hundreds of applications."

"The expansion into scientific instrument sales was always part of the master plan for our company", said McMurtry. "However, we have moved up the time frame for this addition due to the rapid growth of NanoAndMore. By utilizing a network of well established, known and trusted independent sales agents who are already selling into the scientific instrument marketplace, we have full coverage across the US."

About: NanoAndMore USA:
NanoAndMore USA (NAM) was founded in 2005 by NanoWorld Holding AG and George McMurtry, formerly a founder and vice president of Quesant Instrument Corporation, one of the oldest AFM manufacturers. The corporation headed by George McMurtry as CEO is situated on Lady's Island, South Carolina.

NAM was the first distributor of AFM probes to sell them in premounted formats for those AFM systems that require them (such as Quesant Instrument and older Park Scientific systems), as well as just the probes themselves giving the end user a second source of necessary premounted tips with the flexibility of a complete range of premounts from the budget conscious BudgetSensors line to the premier NanoWorld™ and NANOSENSORS™ probes.

Besides NANOSENSORS™, NanoWorld™ and BudgetSensors™, NAM USA is also distributing NanoSight Nano-particle Size Analyzers, Lyncée tec Digital Holographic Microscopes, Minus-K vibration isolation equipment and the Scanning Probe Image Processor from Image Metrology. NanoAndMore will be adding additional surface analysis products and will gladly discuss distribution of such products with manufacturers; all but AFMs will be considered.
