Mr. Thorne has more than 20 years of diversified business and consulting experience in the United States and abroad. He specializes in organizational transformations, utilizing a practical approach to implement process improvements, build customer-focused organizations, and reduce operating costs. His focus is to create breakthrough business results.

An innovative change agent, Mr. Thorne has worked closely with business leaders--to guide them in preparing themselves, and all employees--for the personal and organizational impacts of change. He has led many diversified companywide projects that have resulted in major breakthroughs in cycle time reduction, time to market, product and service quality, bottom-line savings, and customer loyalty.

Mr. Thorne was the Lean Six Sigma Program Manager for SGS Systems & Services Certification, with worldwide responsibilities. He was formerly Global Quality Manager for A&E Products Group, part of Tyco International's Plastics & Adhesives Division, where he became a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. Mr. Thorne later obtained his Master Black Belt and Lean Certifications while at SGS.

Mr. Thorne's academic credentials include a BA in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, a BS in Industrial Technology, and an MS in Plastics Engineering, both from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
