North American Spine Society Elects Laser Spine Institute's Dr. Weiss

Dr. Michael Weiss, D.O. has been elected to the North American Spine Society, a leading multi-disciplinary medical organization in the spinal care field.

Tampa, FL (PRWEB) July 1, 2008 -- The Laser Spine Institute is pleased to announce Dr. Michael Weiss, D.O., a member of the Laser Spine Institute board certified surgical team, has been named a member of the North American Spine Society.

Dr. Weiss received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University and completed his residency at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital where he became Chief Resident in 1991. Throughout his career, Dr. Weiss enhanced his surgical expertise at several hospitals including Detroit Medical Center; Point Huron Hospital; Shriner's Hospital in Tampa, FL; and Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He joined the Laser Spine Institute surgical team in 2006 after 15 years of private practice in South Florida.
