Camella Nair's "Aqua Kriya Yoga" Book Now Available to the Public

Looking for a new, and gentle approach to yoga? Camella Nair RYT, has just released her book on Yoga in the water entittled, "Aqua Kriya Yoga." Now on sale at Amazon, Author House and leading bookstores nationwide.

Mountain View, CA (PRWEB) December 4, 2007 -- "Camella Nair’s new yoga book, 'Aqua Kriya Yoga,' is much more than a lovely book of yoga postures done in the water. This book is thoughtful, original, making Hatha Yoga safe, accessible and a source of healing for every b-o-d-y.” -- Lilias Folan

The Path of Kriya Yoga is a path of Self-Discipline and study that can help us to find greater meaning in life.

Hatha yoga is a science that has an effect of making us feel more comfortable in our body, and in so doing, making us feel more at peace in our mind. The majority of classes are taken on land on a sticky mat but very often this is not a favorable environment for people who have a body bias, and would prefer to participate in what is popularly being called these days, ”therapeutic yoga,” although traditionally of course all yoga should have a therapeutic affect for the mind and body.

Now there is a new book available that has translated asana from the sticky mat to the pool in Camella Nair's “Aqua Kriya Yoga.” (ISBN 978-1-4343-3404-6 (sc), Published by Author House, http://www.authorhouse.com, www.amazon.com).

Camella has written a book for both student and teacher that is very pleasing to the eye and explains how many groups of people such as pre-natal, active older adults, water fitness enthusiasts, people who are overweight or recovering from injury, may be able to join in a meaningful yoga class in the water.

“I have always loved being in the water and also practicing yoga since I was a teenager. Taking Yoga into the water and developing a program for teachers and students is a way to educate and share yoga with a wider range of students than ever before. People who may have a low sense of self-esteem, along with an idea that yoga is only for the fit, flexible and young for example. Our society is very fragmented these days and yoga is all about unification. A class setting where the able bodied yogi practices along side someone who may be recovering from a stroke or cancer builds a sense of community and inclusion that helps us to take our yoga practice into our lives as householders.”

Camella Nair’s book is available through Author House publishing (http:www.authorhouse.com, www.Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, Borders and fine bookstores nationwide).
