Free Videos on Agoraphobia Treatment Now Offered Online

The Agoraphobia Help website has just released The 7 Keys to Freedom from Agoraphobia, an online video course with information on the most effective self-help techniques for agoraphobia. The videos were created by a recovered agoraphobic with a master's degree in psychology. They offer credible information on agoraphobia treatment to people whose condition makes it difficult to leave their homes to receive professional help.

Clovis, CA (PRWEB) October 9, 2008 -- Agoraphobia, which is the fear of open or public places, affects approximately 3.2 million Americans and even more worldwide. While agoraphobia is highly treatable, many agoraphobics can't easily get the help they need because they are stuck in their homes. To leave their homes to seek professional help means having a major panic attack.

Now Stephen Price, recovered agoraphobic turned Panic and Phobia Coach, has just released a series of 7 videos on agoraphobia treatment that are accessible online. Those who sign up for the videos receive an email a day for seven days, each containing a link to an informational video on agoraphobia recovery methods. The videos and the website they can be viewed on, http://www.agoraphobiahelp.com, was created to make help for agoraphobia more convenient.

"When I had agoraphobia, getting the right help for agoraphobia was not easy because I could not leave my home," says Stephen. "Now that I've recovered, I am on a mission to put credible information on agoraphobia treatment online, so others with agoraphobia can have the information they need in their homes and get started on recovery."

The free video course, entitled The 7 Keys to Freedom from Agoraphobia, teaches the basics of cognitive-behavioral therapy, which is the most research-proven treatment for agoraphobia today. Approximately 90% of people with agoraphobia who practice cognitive-behavioral therapy report a major reduction in phobia symptoms within 12-16 weeks.

The free video course also addresses the issues of finding motivation and taking responsibility for one's own recovery.

Stephen Price, creator of the 7 Keys to Freedom from Agoraphobia, has a master's degree in psychology and is an expert on agoraphobia from personal experience. Since his recovery, he has undertaken a personal mission to help others with agoraphobia all over the world via the internet. In addition to the videos, he is the creator of the "Agoraphobia Report," a monthly e-newsletter that sends inspiration and hope to over 1,400 people with agoraphobia.

If you or someone you love is suffering from agoraphobia right now, you are invited to sign up to watch The 7 Keys to Freedom from Agoraphobia (http://www.agoraphobiahelp.com/more-info/keys-to-freedom.htm) videos.
