Capella University Faculty Member Elected to the Executive Board of the Minnesota School Psychologists Association
Tony Levinskas is a core faculty member for the online university. Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) July 25, 2007 -- Antanas "Tony" Levinskas, PhD, NCSP, a core faculty member in the school psychology specialization at Capella University, has been elected to the executive board of directors of the Minnesota School Psychologists Association (MSPA). Levinskas, whose three-year tenure on the MSPA board began July 1, says he is looking forward to working with the various association committees, including: continuing education, legislative, public relations, and professional practice and ethics. The MSPA is dedicated to informing and supporting school psychologists in Minnesota and has more than 225 members at this time. Levinskas said one of the important issues facing the newly elected MSPA board are the changes in IDEA 2004 (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and what they mean to school psychologists.
