ChemDoodle Now Reads and Writes ChemDraw Files

ChemDoodle Chemical Drawing Software
ChemDoodle Chemical Drawing Software

ChemDoodle, a powerful tool for drawing chemical and molecule structures, diagrams and figures, now fully supports ChemDraw files. This exciting feature gives scientists an easy and affordable way to share their drawings, and submit them to journals for publishing.

Holmdel, NJ (PRWEB) August 18, 2008 -- iChemLabs, a developer of chemical software for students and professionals, announces that ChemDoodle can now natively read and write ChemDraw files. Because ChemDoodle works on Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux, it is the first application to give scientists full access to all ChemDraw file properties on whatever platform they choose to work. ChemDoodle is available for download today at http://www.chemdoodle.com.

Developed by a computational chemist, ChemDoodle is a powerful and intuitive two-dimensional chemical drawing package. While other chemical drawing applications are too expensive for many scientists and prohibitively expensive for students, iChemLabs has succeeded in keeping the price affordable to students and researchers, while still maintaining high quality software. And now with full support for ChemDraw files, users of ChemDoodle can easily share their chemical drawings with their colleagues, and submit those drawings to publishers that might only accept ChemDraw files.

ChemDoodle is able to read and write ChemDraw files seamlessly, including both CDX and CDXML files. With support for all ChemDraw objects, users can even include text blocks, images, shapes, etc. Furthermore, ChemDoodle supports all the different properties of ChemDraw objects, and provides a clean and easy interface for adjusting those properties. Click here (http://www.chemdoodle.com/videos.php?introduction) to watch an introductory video of ChemDoodle in action.

ChemDoodle is available for download immediately. Current owners of ChemDoodle get this exciting new feature for free. New users can request a two week trial activation code, or they can purchase a permanent code at our website (http://www.chemdoodle.com).
