Ms. Bezjak, former C.O.O. of Virginia Blood Services brings outstanding expertise in blood banking. She has had various executive level positions providing administrative leadership and management for all areas of the VBS operations assuring that hospital, donor and regulatory service requirements were met.
A few of Ms. Bezjak's achievements include development of an autologous and directed donation program, instrumental in implementing an apheresis program and lead a team that increased whole blood and platelet donations above targeted levels. During her tenure with VBS she was also responsible for the opening and staffing of five new donor centers and achieved successful marketing of products and services to hospital customers both within the service area and expansion into new areas.
