(PRWEB) March 21, 2008 -- METHOD.tv are proud to announce their hosting of the live webcast of the 26th Annual Burton US Open from March 21-22 live on METHOD.tv. Many consider the Burton US Open, a Swatch TTR 6-Star event, as the crème de la crème of the snowboarding contest circuit. This year the top riders from around the world will head to Stratton, Vermont, USA hoping to boost their current TTR rankings as well as their Burton Global Open Series rankings. Kevin Pearce (USA), the current TTR tour leader, will be competing in his native Vermont, but with such high stakes, he will surely have some fierce competition. Riders such as Risto Mattila (FIN), Peetu Piiroinen (FIN), and Andy Finch (USA) will also be there in Vermont, pushing each other's abilities to the extreme. The competition will be no less brutal for the girls this year. Riders such as Torah Bright (AUS), Jamie Anderson (USA), Kelly Clark (USA), and Jenny Jones (GBR) are also looking forward to better their standings before they head off to the most defining tour stop on the female circuit, the Roxy Chicken Jam which shortly follows this contest. With $100,000 standing on the line for the male and female winner of the Burton Global Open Series as well as being the most lucrative contest in the Swatch TTR calendar, the 26th annual Burton US Open will prove to be the one most exciting battles of the year and METHOD.tv will be hosting all the action as it happens. # # #
