Dr. Raphael S. F. Longobardi of University Orthopaedic Center, PA, in Hackensack, NJ will discuss common shoulder problems, provide evaluation techniques and treatment options for shoulder pain on December 10, 2008 at 11:30am. Hackensack, NJ (PRWEB) December 4, 2008 -- According to the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, almost 14 million visits are made to physicians' offices each year due to shoulder problems. To help the general public effectively assess their aches and pains, University Orthopaedic Center and Board Certified orthopaedic surgeon, Raphael S. F. Longobardi, MD, FAAOS will present a free Patient Education Seminar entitled "Common Shoulder Problems." Dr. Longobardi will explain the anatomy of the shoulder, interpret the various causes of shoulder pain, provide evaluation techniques and discuss successful treatment solutions.

Dr. Longobardi, a graduate of New York University School of Medicine and member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and numerous other medical associations, and has been honored by the Lillian S. Lusskin Orthopaedic Foundation for Excellence in Teaching. He is affiliated with Hackensack Medical Center and Holy Name Hospital.
