Access OC, based in Irvine, has signed the marketing firm to help create marketing materials that promote the organization among the 370,000 uninsured residents within the county. Anaheim, CA (PRWEB) July 18, 2007 -- Access OC, a non-profit organization that offers free surgeries to uninsured patients, has retained Anaheim-based marketing firm Identity Crisis to raise awareness of its services to those who need it most -- the approximate 370,000 uninsured residents in Orange County. Identity Crisis will shoot photography and design a brochure for the organization.
"Access OC can have a profound effect on individuals suffering from ailments that would be otherwise easy to solve, but who are unable to because of financial restrictions," said David Moyle, art director for Identity Crisis. "Unfortunately, not enough people know about the program, so our job is to help Access OC create a presence in the region and let individuals know that there is help available to them."
Based in Irvine, Calif., Access OC is part of Health Funders Partnership of Orange County, a philanthropic organization comprised of doctors, healthcare providers and funding institutions. The organization holds a "Surgery Day," in which it treats pre-screened, pre-qualified patients who are referred to them by local community clinics. Everything for the surgeries, from the medical staff to the equipment, is donated to the organization for the day.
"The very nature of the Access OC project has created a challenge for the Identity Crisis team because one program, the Super Saturday Surgeries, needed immediate attention: a logo, letterhead, website, etc. But the broader brand development needed to wait for more in-depth program design," said Ericka Waidley, Access OC coordinator. "I have been impressed with the commitment and dedication of all three principles at Identity Crisis from the very start. It is not often that you have an opportunity to brainstorm with such a diversity of experience and expertise all around one table." About Identity Crisis
