Read In Style, the reading glass boutique, launches its revamped website.

New York, NY (PRWEB) January 3, 2007 -- The reading glass boutique, Read In Style, announces its newly revamped website. Owner and operator Cassia Cogger says the renovated site focuses on customer service to include easy to see categories, easier navigation, emphasis of Read In Style's satisfaction guaranteed policy, a price match guarantee and a live chat option. What differentiates Read in Style is its fashionable, not just function-able reading glass selection.

"Today, people who need reading glasses are looking for better designs. They want reading glasses that are going to compliment their outfits and they're happy to put on glasses if the glasses makes them feel good," says Cassia Cogger of Read In Style.

This shift to designer eye wear is defining a whole new market. Cogger has seen a major jump in fashionable eyeglass frame sales, an increase so great, that she stopped carrying any of the lower end over-the-counter designs. Intelligent reading glass designers are catering to this new market. Read In Style has been selling reading glasses at both their New York City location and online for over four years.

"We used to get asked for hand-painted reading glasses, which are a plain and inexpensive style of eyeglass frame. In today's market, nobody asks for those anymore. We now carry fashionable lines such as Scojo, EyeBobs, and Amy Sacks," says Cassia Cogger. "These new designer reading glasses have all the style and features of a custom pair eyeglass frames without the hefty price tag."

A custom manufactured pair of eyeglasses costs hundreds of dollars. But, designer, pre-manufactured frames found at Read in Style retail from as a little $40 with all the benefits, features, and style of other eyeglasses. Over 90% of the frames available are ophthalmic quality, made of the same quality standards as a custom pair of eyeglass frames and can have lenses of most any prescription made to fit them.

Features such as scratch resistant, UV protection, and aspheric lenses are found in most every lens at Read In Style. Many frames come equipped with such luxuries as European spring hinges, flexible memory temples, and beautiful European zyl plastics or modern metal options. Polarized bi focal sunglasses for reading have even found their way to the ready made reading glass market.

"There is no longer a need to beg for better reading glass designs. Great designs are here and the presbyopic population has many fashion forward, high quality options to choose from," says Cassia Cogger.
